Every colour on this site was boiled, fermented or steamed out of a plant. Nothing here came from a lab.
Temple marigolds, boiled for warm yellows and golds.
Rose petals and leaves, simmered for soft, living greens.
Madder root for rust, brick and rose tones.
Bark and fruit for earthen browns and mordanting.
Made from katran — the fabric scraps left over from the cutting table. Nothing wasted.
We were tired of 'sustainable fashion' looking like beige burlap sacks or costing half a month's rent with zero joy. We wanted garments that felt alive, kissed by sun and petals, that you'd dance in until midnight.
Every piece is handcrafted by skilled women artisans in Kanpur. We work slowly. We make fewer pieces, because real craft takes time and care.

Naturally dyed cloth stays alive. Treat it gently and the colour settles and deepens rather than fading.
No machine, no wringing. Press the water out gently.
Cold water throughout. Heat lifts natural colour out of the fibre.
A pH-neutral detergent. Bleach and harsh alkalis will strip the dye.
Steam iron where possible, otherwise the lowest heat setting.
Dry in the shade. Direct sun will bleach a naturally dyed piece.
